ELDERLY CARE HOME
ARTSVABUYN
A 24-hour service
provision center Artsvabuyn was founded in November 2006 in Artsvanik village,
Syunik marz. The Center provides accommodation and a variety of 24-hour services
to those single elderly and disabled persons without permanent residence or who
have partially or completely lost their self-care ability and are in need of
daily care.
Goal
Provide 24-hour care to
those elderly and disabled who are in need of ongoing care; help them meet their
vital social and psychological needs as well as promote their social
adaptation.

Given the drastic need of
further expanding the Center for the Marz, in 2008 Mission Armenia carried out
rehabilitation activities at one of the facilities of the Center, as well as
ensured the facility with central through building a boiler-house and installing
a modern heating system.
Thanks to the aforenamed works, today
“Artsvabuyn” has the capacity to serve up to 40 beneficiaries.
