DAY CARE CENTERS
Mission
Armenia provides a wide range of services to the elderly, disabled, refugees and
other vulnerable groups through the Day Care Centers that the NGO has
established in the regions and communities of the Republic of Armenia. Services

MULTIFUNCTIONAL CENTER FOR SOCIAL SERVICES
NRNENI
A four-story newly built facility called Nrneni is situated in the
Kanaker-Zeytun community in Yerevan. It is a multifunctional center that has
introduced an entirely new model of social-service provision in Armenia,
providing a model of social housing with a supportive environment.
The center offers accommodations to the vulnerable elderly and refugees where
they reside together with foster families that help the elderly meet their
everyday needs. The center also provides social, healthcare and other services
to the beneficiaries.

ELDERLY CARE HOME
ARTSVABUYN
A 24-hour service-provision center, Artsvabuyn was founded in November 2006 in
Artsvanik village, Syunik region. The Center provides accommodations and a
variety of 24-hour services to those single elderly and disabled persons without
permanent residence who have partially or completely lost their self-care
ability and are in need of daily care.

SERVICES FOR REFUGEES / ASYLUM SEEKERS
Mission
Armenia in cooperation with UNHCR as an implementing partner since 1995, has
been implementing different projects for refugees/asylum seekers, most of whom
are ethnic Armenians.
Mission Armenia provides psycho-social and healthcare services as well as
vocational training, advocacy, renovation of temporary shelters and other
services to the refugees.
